Youth Music Production - Free Sessions!
On Thursday evenings during term time, young people aged 12-19 from Tower Hamlets and the surrounding areas can try their hand at music production for FREE!
Under the supervision of our expert tutors, students can learn how to produce, arrange and mix their own beats as well as recording instruments and vocals to add to the mix, all for FREE!
Every Thursday from 6.30 – 8.30pm during term time, Youth Music Production offers local young people free access to the same studio we use for our flagship Creative Music Production and Business foundation degree course.
Under the watchful eye of our tutor Jamie who has an active career and years of experience working within various sectors of the music industry, participants have the chance to explore the exciting world of music production.
This could involve learning how to produce original beats and compositions using industry standard Logic Pro X software, recording their own raps or songs using high quality microphones or using the analogue mixing desk and hardware to sculpt the frequencies, vary the overall mix and achieve the desired sonic outcome.
No previous experience of music production is required.
