Mind The Music will re-start on 17th September 2024!

Our "Mind the Music" programme is dedicated to supporting young people facing mental health and well-being challenges by harnessing the therapeutic and uplifting qualities of music. These take place every Tuesday, 3.30pm-5.30pm. None required, just a self referral of suffering with mental health or wellbeing issues and be 18+.

Can I come to this session even if I don't have mental health or wellbeing issues? 

No - we suggest you check out our ReCharge 18-25 drop in sessions instead, which are open to everyone 18-25 with an interest in music production or DJing. 

Who leads these sessions?

Our drop-in sessions are led by experienced tutors who are well-versed in the activities described. They will guide you through various aspects of music creation and provide valuable insights and tips.

When and where do these sessions take place?

The sessions take place every Tuesday during term time from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

The closest station is Whitechapel, just a 7-minute walk away.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

No, you don't need to bring your own equipment. Our sessions are held in professional, industry-standard studios, and all the necessary equipment will be provided for your use.

Is there a cost to attend these sessions?

No, these drop-in sessions are entirely free of charge. Our goal is to provide access to music education and support for young individuals interested in music.

Do I need to register in advance or can I just show up?

Yes, you need to register in advance. Please fill out the contact form on our website (the 'apply now' box should take you there). Once you have completed that, a member of the team will be in contact to send you an application form. 

Once you are registered, you just show up.
